Mudcat teaches Bluegrass for Coda Inspire and Coda Community, provides technical and sound support at concerts, and steps in to help anywhere he is needed.

What inspires him to do what he does is the children and for the love of music. For fun, John enjoys doing things with music and participating in Christian activities.

Mudcat became involved with Coda through his daughter Savannah Peters. Originally from Picklestreet, WV, currently lives in Craigsville, WV. Mudcat graduated from Glenville High School.
