Teresa is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 40 years of experience from corporate financial reporting  to public accounting and for 15 years focusing on serving nonprofit organizations and small businesses. She brings strong expertise in nonprofit financial reporting, Form 990 preparation, budgeting, internal controls, and grant-ready financial systems, and is skilled at working with boards and non-financial staff.

She has served on various nonprofit boards and has brought her financial leadership and excellence to the Coda Mountain Academy Board since 2017. Her combined audit, management, and cost accounting experience supports transparent, sustainable financial practices that strengthen mission impact.

Teresa and her husband live in Fayetteville, West Virginia. She enjoys giving back to the community in many ways, from leading Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention with Active Southern West Virginia to providing accounting support for several nonprofit organizations. She also cherishes and prioritizes time with her one-year-old grandson.
