Overview
Coda Explore Summer Camp is a hands-on adventure in science, engineering, and discovery! Students build, test, tinker, experiment, and problem-solve in an encouraging environment that nurtures exploration, confidence, and a love of learning. Each year, the camp is centered around a single exciting STEM theme, such as catapults, flight, water, race cars, bridges, or alternative energy, which guides projects and sparks creativity throughout the week. It’s a place to be curious, discover new interests, and belong.
Campers collaborate with peers, make new friends, and explore big ideas in age-appropriate ways. While Explore Kidz and Explore Teens run during the same week and share opening activities, each group spends most of the day in separate sessions designed specifically for their developmental level.
More than a summer camp, Coda Explore is a launchpad for imagination and confidence. By the end of the week, students leave energized, proud of what they have built, and excited to keep exploring the world around them!

(ages 5–9)
Explore Kidz typically lasts for 5 days and runs from 8:30am to 2:00pm each day, with breakfast provided at 8:00am. Younger campers ages 5 to 9 dive into hands-on projects connected to the week’s theme, including introductory LEGO robotics and creative engineering challenges. With meals and busing provided, activities are designed to be playful and engaging while building teamwork, problem-solving skills, and confidence. Through tinkering, testing ideas, and working together, students develop curiosity and a strong sense of accomplishment in a supportive environment.

(ages 10–16)
Explore Teens camp runs concurrently with Explore Kidz, lasting for 5 days but typically runs from 8:30am to 4:00pm each day, with breakfast provided at 8:00am. The extended schedule allows for deeper exploration of more advanced projects as teens ages 10 to 16 take on engineering challenges connected to the camp theme, often incorporating LEGO robotics and drone piloting. With meals and transportation provided, students have the time and support needed for experimentation, collaboration, and refining their ideas. Most years also include a field trip related to the theme, helping students see real-world applications of what they are learning.
